Adapteri ShiverPeaks 57003 — mono 6,3 mm klinkkipistoke 6,3 mm klinkkiliitäntään

ShiverPeaks 57003 is a mono audio adapter that converts a 6.3 mm (1/4") mono jack plug into a 6.3 mm jack socket. It creates a simple mechanical and electrical link between a mono instrument or line cable and a female 6.3 mm connection, allowing compatibility where direct plugs and sockets differ. The adapter is intended for unbalanced mono signals and is suitable for patching, adapting or extending standard instrument and audio cables in studios, rehearsals and live setups.

Advantages

The adapter offers a compact and durable solution for connecting mono 6.3 mm plugs to 6.3 mm sockets without altering cables or equipment. Its straightforward form factor provides reliable mechanical contact and maintains signal continuity for unbalanced connections. Because it accepts standard 6.3 mm plugs on the input side and provides a corresponding jack socket on the output side, it reduces the need to re-terminate cables or carry multiple specialized leads.

Suitable for

• Connecting mono instruments (guitar, bass) to patch bays or extension leads
• Adapting mono line-level cables to equipment with female 6.3 mm inputs
• Patching signal paths in studio and rehearsal environments
• Temporary repairs or extensions in live sound rigs

Key specifications

• Connector type (input): 6.3 mm (1/4") mono jack plug
• Connector type (output): 6.3 mm (1/4") jack socket
• Signal type: unbalanced mono
• Primary use: audio patching, adapting and extension
• Form factor: inline adapter for direct plug-to-socket conversion

How to use

Insert the 6.3 mm mono jack plug from an instrument or cable into the adapter’s male end until it seats firmly. Plug the adapter’s female 6.3 mm socket into the corresponding male connector on the target device or cable. Ensure connections are secure before applying signal to avoid intermittent contact. The adapter does not provide isolation or balanced conversion; use it only where an unbalanced mono connection is appropriate.

Recommendations

For best results, use the adapter with standard-quality 6.3 mm cables and avoid exposing it to excessive mechanical strain or moisture. If noise or poor contact appears, inspect connectors for dirt or wear and replace the adapter or cable if necessary. Do not use this adapter to convert between mono and stereo balanced systems or for long cable runs where balanced connections are required.
