MicroConnect AUDANR2 sovitin 6,35 mm uros - 6,35 mm naaras — audiosovitin

MicroConnect AUDANR2 is a 6.35 mm (1/4") male to 6.35 mm (1/4") female audio adapter that provides a straightforward mechanical conversion between two standard jack genders. The adapter is intended for use where a male 6.35 mm plug must be connected to an equipment panel, cable or accessory that accepts a 6.35 mm female connector, allowing continued use of existing cables, headphones, instruments and audio leads without modification.

Advantages

The adapter offers a compact and durable solution for gender conversion between 6.35 mm audio jacks while preserving signal continuity. Its standard form factor ensures compatibility with common headphones, instrument cables, amplifiers and mixing consoles. The simple design minimizes signal loss and maintains mechanical stability during normal studio and stage use.

Suitable for

• Connecting headphones with 6.35 mm plugs to devices with 6.35 mm sockets
• Adapting instrument cables (guitars, keyboards) to amplifiers and pedals
• Joining extension leads or adapting patch points in studios
• Temporary connections in live sound setups and rehearsals

Key specifications

• Connector type: 6.35 mm (1/4") male to 6.35 mm (1/4") female
• Contact configuration: mono or stereo depending on host plug (sleeve-tip or TRS compatibility)
• Construction: metal housing with insulated internal contacts
• Finish: nickel or similar corrosion-resistant plating
• Dimensions: compact inline adapter profile for minimal cable strain
• Mounting: panel or cable-to-cable inline usage (no additional mounting required)

How to use

Insert the 6.35 mm male plug of the audio cable or device into the adapter's female socket until it seats firmly. Then insert the adapter's 6.35 mm male end into the target equipment or cable coupling point. Ensure the connections are properly aligned and fully inserted to avoid intermittent contact. If using TRS (stereo) plugs, confirm that both tip and ring contacts are engaging to maintain stereo channels.

Recommendations

Verify connector polarity and plug type before use to ensure compatibility with mono or stereo circuits. Avoid excessive lateral force on the adapter while connected; support cable weight to reduce mechanical stress. Store in a dry environment to limit corrosion and periodically inspect contacts for wear or oxidation to maintain reliable audio performance.
