InLine DC-jatkojohto, DC-pistoke/liitin 5,5x2,1 mm, AWG 18, valkoinen 5 m

The InLine DC extension cable 5.5x2.1mm AWG 18 white 5m is a 5-metre white extension lead with 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC barrel connectors on both ends. It is designed for low-voltage DC applications and supports an input voltage of 12 V with a maximum current of 11.6 A. The AWG 18 conductor gauge provides robustness and reliable power transfer for a range of electronic devices.

Advantages

The cable's 5-metre length allows flexible placement of powered devices while the matching 5.5 x 2.1 mm connectors ensure compatibility with many common DC power plugs. AWG 18 wiring offers lower resistance and improved durability compared with thinner cables, and the white jacket provides a discreet appearance for installations where color matching matters.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Extending DC power to routers, modems and network equipment
• Connecting CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment
• Powering LED strips and small DC-powered lighting
• Supplying power to external hard drives, small printers and similar peripherals

Key specifications

How to use

Connect one 5.5 x 2.1 mm end of the extension cable to the DC output of the power adapter and the other end to the device's DC input. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a secure electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, heavy pinch points or heat sources to preserve insulation and conductor integrity.

Recommendations

Use this cable within the specified 12 V and 11.6 A ratings. For long-term outdoor use or exposure to moisture, consider additional protection such as conduit or weatherproofing; avoid exceeding the stated current to prevent overheating.
