Ajax FireProtect 2 RB lämpö- ja savuhälytin musta 1700m paristo

Ajax FireProtect 2 RB is a compact heat and smoke detector designed for residential fire safety. The detector combines a smoke sensor, a heat sensor and a carbon monoxide alert logic, and notifies about danger with an 85 dB built-in siren and instant critical notifications via Ajax apps. The device supports long battery operation, wireless communication up to 1700 m in open space and is available in versions with different battery options. Its compact dimensions (124 × 124 × 45 mm) and simplified mounting make installation straightforward.

Advantages

FireProtect 2 provides stable performance for years thanks to optimized hardware and firmware, constant data exchange with an Ajax hub and a real-time analysis system that reduces false alarms. The detector issues a low battery warning at least 30 days before full discharge and indicates it with notifications, LED and audible beeps. Enhanced interconnection lets detectors synchronously activate sirens within 20 seconds via the hub or within 1 minute via fallback direct interconnection if the hub is unavailable. Two-way encrypted Jeweller radio ensures secure communication, automatic power adjustment prolongs battery life and radio hopping protects against interference.

How to use

Place the detector on a ceiling or high on a wall in the protected room following local installation guidelines. Fix the detector using the SmartBracket mounting panel — no disassembly of the device is required. Add the device to the Ajax system via the Ajax app for remote setup and monitoring; the app displays the initiating detector’s location, alarm type and exact time. Test the detector from the app or by pressing the front panel with a hand or a non-sharp object to run a manual test. The detector performs automatic self-diagnostics and reports status to the hub.

Recommendations

Install the detector centrally on the ceiling of the room to ensure optimal smoke and heat detection. Avoid placing the detector near ventilation outlets, windows or areas with frequent dust and steam. Follow local fire safety regulations and replace batteries according to device notifications or the product’s specified service interval.
