Ajoneuvotunnistin Proxima MDP_R magnetoresistiivinen radiomoduuli malli 44591 OEM

The Proxima MDP_R Magnetoresistive radio module model 44591 OEM is a compact vehicle detector that senses passing vehicles by detecting changes in the earth's magnetic field. Designed for integration into access-control systems, barrier and gate controllers, and traffic monitoring equipment, the module provides contactless detection of vehicle presence without moving parts. Its small form factor and radio interface make it suitable for installations where wired connections or physical loop detectors are impractical.

Advantages

The magnetoresistive sensing element delivers stable detection of ferrous mass disturbances with low power consumption and minimal maintenance requirements. Radio communication reduces the need for long cable runs and enables flexible placement of the sensor relative to the controller. The module's compact design facilitates discreet mounting in roadside cabinets, within barriers, or inside access-control housings, and its contactless operation avoids wear associated with mechanical sensors.

Suitable for

• Automatic gate and barrier control
• Parking space occupancy and vehicle presence detection
• Traffic counting and monitoring on low- to medium-speed roads
• Integration into access-control and security systems

Key specifications

• Sensing principle: magnetoresistive detection of magnetic field disturbances
• Detection type: contactless vehicle presence and passing detection
• Form factor: compact radio module suitable for integration into enclosures
• Power consumption: low-power operation suitable for continuous monitoring
• Interface: radio communication for wireless connection to controllers or gateways
• Installation: no moving parts, minimal maintenance required

How to use

Mount the module in a protected location near the roadway, gate, or parking space where magnetic disturbances from vehicles are reliably detected. Configure the radio link and detection thresholds according to the controller or gateway documentation to achieve the desired sensitivity and detection range. Perform a functional test with representative vehicles to verify detection reliability and adjust placement or sensitivity if necessary. Ensure the module is secured inside a weather-proof enclosure if installed outdoors.

Recommendations

Position the sensor as close as practical to the vehicle path while avoiding direct exposure to heavy metal structures that could mask magnetic signatures. For installations requiring maximum reliability, perform on-site calibration and periodic checks, and use a sealed enclosure to protect electronics from moisture and contaminants.
