The Akasa G-Nexus P16 90 Degree 12VHPWR Adapter is a dual 12+4-pin angled connector designed to simplify cable routing and improve aesthetics while supporting up to 600W output. This TYPE 1 configuration places the 4-pin on the backplate side above the 12-pin block, making it compatible with ATX 3.0 PSUs and modern GPUs that use the 16-pin 12VHPWR standard. The adapter’s compact black finish helps improve case clearance and cable management without adding bulk.

Advantages

The 90-degree connection reduces cable bending and stress on both the cable and GPU connector, lowering the risk of strain-related damage. The adapter supports up to 600W, making it suitable for high-power NVIDIA RTX 40 Series GPUs and other devices that require a 16-pin 12VHPWR interface. Its compact, stylish design saves space inside smaller cases and provides cleaner panel clearance for improved airflow and installation convenience.

Suitable for

• PC builders using ATX 3.0 PSUs with 16-pin 12VHPWR outputs
• Systems with NVIDIA RTX 40 Series or other GPUs that require up to 600W via 12VHPWR
• Small-form-factor or compact PC cases needing improved cable clearance
• Users prioritizing neater cable management and aesthetic layouts

How to use

Insert the adapter aligned with the 12+4-pin ports so the 4-pin block sits on the backplate side above the 12-pin block. Ensure the connection is fully seated and secure before powering the system. Route the angled cable to minimise bends and avoid forcing the cable into tight angles. Verify compatibility with your PSU and GPU power requirements prior to installation.

Recommendations

Do not use non-standard or modified cables; keep adapters and cables away from heat sources; avoid daisy-chaining adapters or using additional adapter cables to reduce the risk of overheating or connector damage. Always ensure a complete and secure connection to prevent incorrect operation and potential melting.
