PCIe-riserikaapeli Akasa AK-CBPE05-30B X3 Mark V PCIe 5.0 x16, 30 cm

Akasa X3 Mark V (30 cm) is a PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable designed to extend or reposition a PCIe x16 connection without compromising signal integrity. The cable enables flexible placement of a graphics card or other x16 expansion cards while preserving the bandwidth and timing characteristics required by modern PCIe 5.0 devices. Its 30 cm length suits compact and custom builds where the standard motherboard slot location is impractical for component layout or airflow optimization.

Advantages

The Akasa X3 Mark V PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable maintains high-frequency signal transmission suitable for PCIe 5.0 speeds, reducing the risk of data errors and performance loss during GPU operation. Its flexible design simplifies installation in non-standard cases and vertical or offset GPU mount configurations. The cable construction focuses on shielding and controlled impedance to support reliable operation under demanding workloads.

Suitable for

• Custom PC builds requiring alternate GPU placement or vertical mounting
• Small form factor and HTPC cases where motherboard slot access is limited
• Systems needing improved airflow or clearance for large coolers and radiators
• Workstations that require temporary or permanent relocation of expansion cards

Key specifications

• Interface: PCI Express 5.0 compatible, x16 link
• Length: 30 cm flexible cable
• Lane configuration: x16 lanes supported
• Design features: shielded conductors and impedance-controlled traces for high-speed data integrity
• Connector type: standard PCIe x16 male/female interface for motherboard and card connection

How to use

Install the riser cable by seating the cable's motherboard-side connector into the PCIe x16 slot and then attaching the graphics card or expansion card to the card-side connector, ensuring secure mechanical retention at both ends. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or tight kinks and keep it clear of hot components and fast-moving fans. Verify that the system firmware and motherboard support the desired PCIe link configuration and test the card under expected workloads to confirm stable operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within its specified length, avoid excessive twisting, and ensure both connectors are firmly seated. If installing in a case with a vertical mount, confirm mechanical support for the GPU to prevent stress on the cable and connectors. Check for BIOS or firmware updates that improve PCIe compatibility when combining the riser with the latest generation graphics cards.
