AS Schwabe 60264 -jatkojohto — 25 m, punainen, jatkojohto ulko- ja sisäkäyttöön

AS Schwabe Extension Cable 60264 is a 25 m red power extension intended for both outdoor and indoor use. The cable provides extended reach for electrical tools, garden equipment and temporary power needs, while the high-visibility red jacket helps locate the cable quickly and reduces trip hazards. Designed for flexible placement where fixed sockets are unavailable, this extension cable supports routine power distribution within its length.

Advantages

The bright red outer sheath improves visibility on work sites and in gardens, making placement and retrieval easier. The 25 m length expands the working range of tools and appliances without the need for additional power outlets. Suitable for outdoor use, the cable is constructed to withstand typical environmental exposure encountered during garden work and general exterior tasks. The cable’s design allows convenient temporary power distribution for projects, maintenance and outdoor events.

How to use

Unwind the cable completely before use to avoid heat build-up and reduce electrical resistance. Connect the plug to a properly rated and grounded mains socket and then connect the appliance or tool to the cable’s socket. Avoid overloading the cable by checking the power consumption of connected devices and ensuring it does not exceed the capacity of the supply circuit. When using outdoors, place the cable to minimise exposure to sharp edges, mowing blades and areas where it could be crushed or cut.

Recommendations

Inspect the cable for visible damage before each use. Do not use the cable if the sheath, plug or socket is damaged or if there are exposed conductors. Store the cable dry and coiled without tight kinks. For longer-term outdoor installations or where exposure to water is likely, use additional protection such as cable covers or elevated routing to reduce wear and maintain safety.
