AS SCHWABE H-AL 8300 kaasuilmaisin (90418)

The H-AL 8300 from AS SCHWABE is a gas detector engineered for mobile and stationary environments where propane, butane, or natural gas may be present. Unlike basic detectors that rely on a single power source, this unit operates from either a 12V vehicle battery or a 230V mains connection via the included adapter, making it suitable for caravans, motorhomes, boats, and residential use. Its semiconductor sensor provides early warning at 10% LEL and a full alarm at 20% LEL, with both acoustic and visual alerts.

Highlights

• Detects propane (LPG), butane (LPG), and natural gas (methane).
• Dual power: 12V DC (vehicle battery) or 230V AC (via included adapter).
• Loud 85 dB siren at 1 meter plus LED indicators.
• Wall-mounted design for fixed installation.
• Self-test function for reliability checks.

In daily use

The H-AL 8300 is installed on a wall in the area to be monitored. A green LED confirms power, while yellow indicates pre-alarm and red signals a full alarm. The device operates in temperatures from -10°C to +50°C and up to 95% relative humidity, ensuring performance in varied conditions. Its low power consumption—under 1.5 W in standby—minimizes battery drain in vehicles.
