Audiomuuntaja Omnitronic ELA-T5 5W (malli 80711401) PA- ja linjatasojärjestelmille

Omnitronic ELA-T5 is a 5W audio transformer designed to match and isolate audio signals in PA, paging and line-level systems. It provides galvanic isolation between input and output to prevent ground loops and reduce hum, while supporting impedance matching to improve signal transfer between devices with different nominal impedances. The compact build and rated power make it suitable for inline installations where reliable audio coupling and protection are required.

Advantages

The transformer offers galvanic isolation that protects downstream equipment from ground potential differences and suppresses interference. With a 5-watt power rating, it handles typical line-level and paging signals without distortion when used within its limits. Impedance matching capabilities help maintain signal integrity across various PA components, and the rugged construction supports stable long-term operation in fixed installations.

How to use

Connect the input of the transformer to the source device output (for example mixer or paging output) and the output to the destination device input (amplifier, preamp or receiver). Ensure correct wiring polarity and secure mechanical mounting to avoid microphonic pickup. Keep within the transformer's 5 W rating to prevent overload; if signal levels exceed the rating, reduce source level or use attenuation. Verify signal presence and listen for any residual hum or distortion after installation, then adjust levels or grounding arrangements as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, use the transformer where ground isolation or impedance matching is required to eliminate interference. Locate it close to the affected connection point, avoid running unshielded signal cables near mains wiring, and verify that signal levels remain below the 5 W rating. In complex systems, test one channel at a time to confirm correct operation before completing full installation.
