The be quiet! SILENT WINGS PRO 4 120mm PWM is a high-performance 120 mm case fan designed for efficient cooling with low noise. It features optimized fan blades, a chassis-compatible radiator corner design and a three-speed switch for flexible control. The fan uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) for quiet operation and long service life. With a maximum rotational speed of 3000 RPM, a rated airflow of 142.5 m³/h and maximum static pressure of 5.31 mmH2O, the SILENT WINGS PRO 4 is suitable for demanding cooling tasks while maintaining a discreet black finish that integrates easily into most PC builds.

Advantages

The fan combines high airflow and strong static pressure with a fluid dynamic bearing to reduce operational noise and increase durability. The optimized blade geometry and radiator-friendly corner design improve heat-sink compatibility, while the built-in 3-speed switch and PWM control allow precise balancing between performance and acoustics. The compact 120 mm form factor and neutral black colour make it compatible with a wide range of cases and cooling configurations.

Suitable for

Case ventilation in desktop PCs
Air cooling of CPU heatsinks and radiators
Systems requiring adjustable fan speed via PWM or manual switch
Silent-focused builds where low noise and reliable operation are important

Key specifications

Type: Fan
Fan diameter: 120 mm
Maximum speed: 3000 RPM
Airflow: 142.5 m³/h
Maximum static pressure: 5.31 mmH2O
Bearing: Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB)
Operating voltage: 7–13.2 V
Colour: Black
Weight: 0.227 kg
MPN: BL098
EAN: 4260052188903

How to use

Install the fan in the desired case position or on a compatible heatsink/radiator using the supplied mounting screws or vibration-damping mounts if provided. Connect the 4-pin PWM connector to a motherboard fan header or a compatible fan controller to enable automatic speed control; alternatively use the integrated 3-speed switch to select a fixed operating speed. Ensure correct airflow direction according to the case cooling plan and verify secure electrical connection before powering the system.

Recommendations

For optimal results, place the SILENT WINGS PRO 4 where it supports a coherent airflow path—intake at front/bottom and exhaust at rear/top. Use the PWM header for dynamic control in mixed-load systems; select lower fixed speeds in noise-sensitive environments. Periodically check and clean dust accumulation on blades and radiator surfaces to maintain performance.
