BlueOptics AJ835A InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 2 m LC aqua OM3

The BlueOptics AJ835A InfiniBand fibre optic cable 2 m LC Aqua OM3 is a multimode fibre patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and networking environments. With LC connectors on both ends and an OM3-grade multimode core, this 2 meter cable supports short-range, high-bandwidth connections typical for server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links. The cable's 125 µm core diameter and OM3 specification make it suitable for applications requiring reliable signal integrity and reduced attenuation at 850 nm operating wavelengths.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode cable provides stable, low-loss connections with LC duplex terminations, allowing compact port density and straightforward installation in dense networking racks. The 2 m length is practical for intra-rack and adjacent-rack connections without excess slack. Aqua jacketing and OM3 classification ensure compatibility with equipment expecting 50/125 µm multimode fibre performance and enable use with InfiniBand transceivers and multimode optical modules.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections in data centres
• High-bandwidth InfiniBand links and clustered computing environments
• Patching in telecom rooms and structured cabling within racks
• Short-reach optical links up to the supported OM3 distances for 10 Gbit/s and higher where applicable

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Connector type: LC duplex (both ends)
• Length: 2 metres
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm multimode (125 µm cladding)
• Jacket colour: Aqua (OM3 standard)

How to use

Connect one LC connector to the source port and the other LC connector to the destination port, ensuring correct orientation for duplex transmission. Avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. Secure excess cable using appropriate cable management within racks or patch panels to prevent strain on connectors and ports.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean with fibre-grade cleaning tools if contamination is present. Use this OM3 cable for short-reach, high-bandwidth applications and verify compatibility with InfiniBand transceivers and switch optics rated for multimode operation.
