BlueOptics BO272703Q2M-BO InfiniBand/kuitu kaapeli 2 m SFP28 uros/uros

The BlueOptics BO272703Q2M-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 2 m SFP28 Male/Male is a two-metre duplex fiber cable with SFP28-compatible connectors at both ends. It is intended for high-speed, low-latency links between SFP28 ports in switches, servers and host adapters. The cable supports short-reach optical connections within rack and data center deployments, providing a compact alternative to transceiver-based links while maintaining signal integrity over the specified distance.

Advantages

This SFP28-to-SFP28 fibre cable offers straightforward plug-and-play installation thanks to its standardized SFP28 male connectors and fixed fiber assembly. Its 2 m length reduces excess slack in rack layouts and helps maintain tidy cable management. The construction minimizes insertion loss and supports high bandwidth, making it suitable for 25Gb/s and other SFP28-rated links where optical cabling is required.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the devices to be linked, observing proper orientation until the connectors latch. Ensure both equipment ports are compatible with SFP28 optical cables and that port configuration matches the intended network speed and protocol. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; secure it with cable management features in the rack to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Verify port compatibility and network settings before installation. Use the 2 m length to maintain organized rack cabling and avoid excess looped slack. For reliable performance, keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines and inspect connectors for dust or contamination prior to mating.
