BlueOptics BPAJ-BO SN LC OM4 kuitu-kaapeli 10 m pinkki

The BlueOptics BPAJ-BO SN LC OM4 10 m Pink fibre optic cable is a 10-metre multimode OM4 patch cable with SN (SN/UPC) to LC (LC/UPC) connectors and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this cable is suitable for data centre links, server-to-switch connections and other networking applications requiring laser-optimized multimode fibre. The cable features a pink outer sheath and an LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) flame-retardant jacket for reduced smoke emission and improved safety in enclosed spaces.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode core supports higher bandwidth and longer reach compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, helping maintain signal integrity over 10 metres. SN-to-LC connectorisation ensures compatibility with devices and transceivers that use SN/UPC and LC/UPC terminations. The LSZH outer jacket reduces toxic fumes and smoke in case of fire, making the cable appropriate for installations in populated or ventilated indoor environments. The pink colour provides easy visual identification in dense cabling environments.

How to use

Install the cable by aligning and inserting the SN/UPC and LC/UPC connectors into the corresponding device or patch panel ports until they click into place. Ensure both ends are clean and free of dust before connection; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable through cable management trays or rack guides to avoid sharp bends and to maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode OM4 fibre. Secure the cable with Velcro ties or cable organizers rather than tight plastic zip ties to prevent microbending.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector endfaces clean and inspect them regularly, avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius, and use LC-compatible transceivers and ports matched to multimode OM4 specifications. Store spare cables in a coiled, untwisted state and avoid crushing or kinking the cable during installation.
