BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-20M-BO kuituoptinen kaapeli Aqua 20m

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-20M-BO is a 20 meter OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC to LC connectors and an aqua outer jacket for easy identification. Designed for full duplex data transmission, this OM3 cable supports high-speed networking links and is intended for connecting patch panels, optical transceivers and other multimode ports in data centres and office networks. The cable features laser-optimized multimode fibre and a low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) sheath for installations where reduced smoke and halogen release are required.

Advantages

This 20 m LC–LC OM3 cable provides low attenuation and high return loss characteristics suited to multimode optical links. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules for consistent mating performance over repeated insertions. The aqua colour coding and standard LC connector footprint allow straightforward cable management and compatibility with equipment that uses LC/UPC terminations. Each cable is factory-tested with interferometer and OTDR measurements and supplied with a protocol of input loss and return loss results.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces before installation to ensure they are clean and undamaged. Plug each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on patch panels or optical transceivers, observing transmit and receive orientation for duplex links. Secure and route the cable using appropriate cable management channels to avoid tight bends; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. If necessary, use fibre cleaning tools to remove contamination and re-test link performance after installation using suitable optical test equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid repeated flexing and excessive pulling force during installation, keep connector endfaces capped until final connection, and follow industry cleaning and handling procedures. Use the supplied test report to verify link loss against system requirements and choose OM3 multimode for short-to-medium distance high-speed multimode applications.
