CBO MiniSAS HD -kaapeli BL464601N1M30-BL — 1 m, Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) datakaapeli

CBO MiniSAS HD cable BL464601N1M30-BL is a 1 m data cable with Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) connectors designed for high-density storage and server environments. The cable offers a compact physical profile and multi-lane SAS connectivity for short, reliable links between host adapters, backplanes, RAID controllers and external enclosures. It is intended for installations where space is limited but full SAS throughput and signal integrity are required over a short distance.

Advantages

The Mini-SAS HD cable provides a standardized SFF-8644 interface that supports multi-lane SAS data transfer while minimizing connector footprint in dense rack systems. Its one-meter length reduces signal attenuation and cable clutter for internal and short external connections. The cable is manufactured to meet signal integrity needs of modern SAS/SATA controllers and enclosures, offering consistent electrical performance and mechanical reliability for frequent mating cycles.

Suitable for

• Connecting SAS host adapters to disk backplanes in server chassis
• Linking RAID controllers to external storage enclosures over short runs
• High-density rack environments where compact SAS connectors are required
• Laboratory or test bench setups for validating SAS links and devices

Key specifications

• Connector type: Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) on both ends
• Length: 1 meter
• Supported interface: SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) with SATA compatibility where applicable
• Cable design: multi-lane data pairs for high throughput
• Intended use: short-run internal or short external server/storage connections

How to use

For installation, align the Mini-SAS HD connector with the corresponding SFF-8644 port on the host adapter, backplane or enclosure and insert firmly until the connector seats. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain on the connector ends. Use the 1 m length for close-proximity connections inside racks or between adjacent rack-mounted devices. If connecting to SATA devices through compatible controllers, verify controller and device compatibility before powering the system.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors for debris before mating and avoid excessive force when inserting or removing the cable. Maintain bend radii recommended by the equipment manufacturer and keep cable runs short to preserve signal integrity. For permanent or vibration-prone installations, use available retention clips or cable management to reduce mechanical stress on the connectors.
