DAC-kaapeli CBO SFP28-DAC-2M 2 m passiivinen kupari SFP28-portteihin

Passive copper DAC cable CBO SFP28-DAC-2M is a 2 m direct-attach cable designed for SFP28 ports to provide a straightforward, low-latency physical connection between compatible network devices. Intended for short-reach links, this cable supports 25Gb/s SFP28 interfaces and is suitable for interconnects inside data centers, server racks and network closets where a simple, plug-and-play solution is required.

Advantages

The cable delivers a reliable, low-latency electrical connection with minimal setup required and no external transceivers. Its passive copper design offers a cost-effective option for short-distance 25Gb/s links while maintaining signal integrity for typical rack-to-rack and within-rack deployments. The 2 meter length balances reach and cable management in dense installations.

Suitable for

• Short-reach connections between SFP28 ports in switches and routers
• Server to switch links inside rack and across adjacent racks
• Top-of-rack to access switch interconnects in data center environments
• High-density network closets and patch-panel connections

Key specifications

• Interface type: SFP28 to SFP28
• Data rate: up to 25 Gb/s
• Cable type: passive copper direct-attach (DAC)
• Length: 2 meters
• Connector style: fixed SFP28 direct-attach modules
• Use case: short-reach, within-rack and adjacent-rack connections

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the devices to be connected; ensure connectors click into place and the devices are powered according to their respective procedures. No additional transceivers or configuration is normally required—most systems will detect the direct-attach cable automatically. Verify link status on both devices and check firmware or driver compatibility if the link does not establish.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this passive DAC cable for short-distance links up to 2 m and in environments with controlled airflow and temperature. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and route the cable to minimize electromagnetic interference from power lines or large copper bundles.
