BlueOptics ET5402-AOC-1M-BO InfiniBand-kuitukaapeli SFP+ aqua 1m uros/uros

The BlueOptics ET5402-AOC-1M-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable SFP+ Aqua 1m Male/Male is a 1-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors designed for high-speed 10G data transmission over multimode fibre. The cable implements SFP+ form-factor electrical interfaces on both ends in a male-to-male configuration and conforms to MSA-compatible SFP+ connection standards. It integrates optical transmitter and receiver components at each end to enable low-latency, high-bandwidth links for networking equipment that accepts SFP+ AOC modules.

Advantages

This 1 m AOC offers low signal loss and electrical isolation inherent to optical links while maintaining the compact, direct-attach convenience of SFP+ modules. The male-to-male SFP+ terminations simplify installation into standard SFP+ ports without additional transceivers. Its multimode optical design supports short-reach 10G applications with reduced electromagnetic interference and minimal heat dissipation compared with copper alternatives.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics ET5402-AOC-1M-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your equipment until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered according to the vendor instructions and that the ports are configured for the intended protocol and speed. For interoperability, verify that the host devices accept MSA-compatible SFP+ AOC modules and that firmware or switch settings do not block third-party optics. No separate transceivers or patch panels are required for direct SFP+ to SFP+ connections.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-reach 10G links in rack environments; avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force on the optical cable, and keep connectors covered when not in use to protect the optical interfaces from contamination.
