BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-1M-BO InfiniBand-kuitukaapeli SFP28 1m uros-uros

The BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-1M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable SFP28 1m Male-Male is a 1-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends. It is designed for short-reach, high-speed links in data centre and networking environments, using multi-mode fibre and integrated transmitter and receiver modules to carry optical signals. The cable is compatible with 25GBASE-SR4 transmission and follows SFP28 form-factor and MSA-aligned electrical and optical interfaces.

Advantages

This AOC provides a compact, low-latency connection for equipment equipped with SFP28 ports. The integrated optical transceivers eliminate the need for separate modules and patch cords, reducing cabling complexity and saving rack space. With a 1 metre length and multi-mode design, the cable supports stable 25 Gbit/s links over short distances while maintaining signal integrity and minimizing electromagnetic interference.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-1M-BO by inserting each SFP28 module end into the SFP28 ports of the corresponding devices until they latch. Ensure both devices are powered down or follow hot-plugging guidance from the device manufacturer. Verify link status and configuration in the host device operating system or switch management interface. Use appropriate handling to avoid bending the cable beyond recommended bend radius and to prevent contamination of connector interfaces.

Recommendations

Store and handle the AOC in a clean environment; avoid touching optical interfaces and clean connector end-faces if contamination is suspected. Use this 1 m AOC for short intra-rack or adjacent-rack connections where 25G SR4 performance is required. Confirm device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules before deployment and update device firmware if vendor guidance recommends it.
