BlueOptics InfiniBand-/kuituvalokaapeli XXVAOCBL1M-BO 1 m SFP28 uros/uros

The BlueOptics InfiniBand/fibre optic cable XXVAOCBL1M-BO is a 1 m active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and networking environments. The cable implements SFP28-to-SFP28 connectivity and supports multi-mode optical transmission for applications that require low latency and stable links. It is built to comply with MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) SFP28 form-factor requirements and is intended as a compatible solution for hardware platforms that accept SFP28 AOC modules.

Advantages

This 1 m AOC offers a compact, pre-assembled fiber connection that reduces the need for field terminations, patching and frequent connector cleaning. The integrated transceivers on each end handle transmit and receive optical signals, enabling simultaneous bidirectional data transfer. Because the cable uses optical transmission, it is inherently immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and suitable for high-density rack deployments where signal integrity and predictable latency are important.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 cage of the network devices until it latches. Ensure that the devices recognize SFP28 AOC modules and that firmware or vendor compatibility policies permit third-party transceivers if applicable. After insertion, verify link status through the device management interface or indicator LEDs and confirm expected link speed and operational state before putting the link into production.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-reach connections inside racks or between adjacent racks. Verify equipment support for SFP28 AOC modules and, when available, enable digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) to monitor voltage, temperature, transmit and receive optical power for proactive maintenance.
