Kuitu-SFP-moduuli CBO SFP-1G-ZX-120KM-CN-BO, 1 Gbit/s, 120 km, 1250 MBd, LC

The BlueOptics CBO SFP-1G-ZX-120KM-CN-BO is a single‑mode fiber optic SFP transceiver that supports a 1 Gbit/s data rate with 1250 MBd signalling and an LC duplex connector. Designed for long‑reach fiber links up to 120 km, this module is intended for carrier, metro and enterprise networks where stable, long‑distance connectivity is required. The small form‑factor pluggable design enables hot‑swappable installation in standard SFP ports on switches, routers and media converters without additional configuration.

Advantages

The module provides reliable long‑distance transmission with low power consumption and compact SFP form factor, allowing easy integration into existing network equipment. Its single‑mode optics and LC duplex interface deliver predictable optical performance for point‑to‑point links, and the standardized SFP package ensures compatibility with a wide range of network devices supporting 1 Gbit/s ports.

Suitable for

• Long‑reach uplinks between switches and routers in carrier and metro networks
• Enterprise campus interbuilding links over single‑mode fiber
• Optical extension of network segments for data centers and server rooms
• Replacing damaged or upgrading existing 1 Gbit/s fiber transceivers

Key specifications

• Data rate: 1 Gbit/s
• Signalling rate: 1250 MBd
• Optical reach: up to 120 km over single‑mode fiber
• Connector type: LC duplex
• Form factor: SFP (small form‑factor pluggable), hot‑swappable
• Application: single‑mode long‑reach links, point‑to‑point

How to use

Insert the SFP transceiver into an empty SFP slot on a compatible switch, router or media converter until it clicks into place, and secure the host device according to its instructions. Connect LC duplex single‑mode fiber cables ensuring correct Tx/Rx alignment. After physical installation, the link should negotiate at 1 Gbit/s; no user configuration on the transceiver itself is required. Monitor diagnostics and link status via the host device management interface if available.

Recommendations

Use single‑mode fiber with appropriate attenuation budget for distances up to 120 km and follow connector cleaning best practices to maintain signal quality. Confirm host device compatibility with 1 Gbit/s SFP modules and check the fiber link loss budget before deployment to ensure reliable operation.
