MiniSAS-kaapeli CBO 2 m, malli 10117949-2020LF, ulkoinen suurnopeusdatayhteys

MiniSAS cable CBO 2 m from BlueOptics is an external high-speed data interconnect designed to link storage enclosures, RAID controllers and host adapters that support MiniSAS interfaces. With a 2 metre length, the cable provides a compact connection option for servers, data-center equipment and external drives with compact SAS ports, enabling consistent signal transmission for high-throughput environments.

Advantages

The cable offers a standardized MiniSAS interface for compatibility with a wide range of enterprise storage and host devices, preserving signal integrity across its 2 m span. Its external design is suited for rack and cabinet installations, while construction and shielding reduce interference and support stable data rates required by RAID arrays and external storage subsystems. The compact form factor simplifies cabling runs and makes replacement or upgrades straightforward.

Suitable for

• Connecting external RAID enclosures to host adapters
• Linking storage shelves and expansion units in data centers
• Upgrading server cabling for MiniSAS-capable controllers
• Connecting external drives with compact SAS ports for backup or archive tasks

Key specifications

• Connector type: MiniSAS external interface compatible with SAS host adapters and storage enclosures
• Cable length: 2 metres
• Design: external, shielded data cable for reduced electromagnetic interference
• Use case: high-speed data paths for storage and server interconnects

How to use

Ensure both devices support the MiniSAS external interface and power down equipment if recommended by the manufacturer before connecting. Align each connector with the corresponding MiniSAS port and press until the connector is fully seated. Secure cable routing to avoid stress on connectors and maintain bend radii recommended for high-speed data cables. After connection, power up devices and verify link status through host controller or enclosure management utilities.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling when installing the cable. Use proper cable management in racks to prevent strain and maintain signal integrity. For mission-critical systems, test the link after installation and monitor connection status periodically to detect potential degradation.
