BlueOptics QSFP-40G-D-AOC-7M-H-BO InfiniBand/kuituoptinen kaapeli 7m uros/uros

The BlueOptics QSFP-40G-D-AOC-7M-H-BO is a 7-meter active optical cable engineered for high-speed InfiniBand and fibre optic connections. With QSFP connectors on both ends, this cable supports 40 Gbps links and is intended for use in data centers and high-performance networking environments where low latency and reliable signal integrity are required.

Advantages

This cable provides a compact and energy-efficient solution for short- to medium-reach high-bandwidth connections without the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. The active optical design reduces electromagnetic interference and heat generation compared with equivalent copper assemblies. QSFP terminations ensure secure electrical and mechanical connection compatible with standard QSFP ports on switches, routers and servers.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each QSFP connector into the matching port until it latches. Ensure both devices are powered down or that hot-pluggable installation is supported by your equipment, then verify link status on connected devices. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. For multi-vendor environments, confirm QSFP compatibility and link settings in device firmware or management interfaces.

Recommendations

Store and route the cable in a manner that prevents excessive bending and mechanical strain. Use appropriate cable management in racks to maintain airflow and to reduce the risk of accidental disconnection. Check device compatibility with QSFP AOC solutions and verify link speed and protocols (40 Gbps, InfiniBand or supported Ethernet modes) in your network configuration.
