BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-PT-BO InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 3 m uros/uros

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-PT-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 3-metre active optical cable designed for high-speed interconnects in data centres and advanced networking environments. With QSFP male connectors on both ends, this cable provides a low-latency link suitable for server-to-switch, switch-to-switch and switch-to-storage connections. The cable's active optical design enables long-reach, high-bandwidth links while maintaining signal integrity and minimizing electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers high data throughput and stable performance for InfiniBand applications. Its QSFP male-to-male termination ensures simple, direct connections without intermediate adapters. The optical medium reduces susceptibility to electrical noise and allows consistent performance in dense rack environments. Constructed for reliable handling in professional networking installations, it supports sustained transmission rates and contributes to efficient network topology.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing (HPC) clusters requiring low-latency interconnects
• Data centre switch-to-switch and switch-to-server links
• Storage area networks and SAN fabrics using InfiniBand
• Short to medium reach connections within equipment racks and between adjacent racks

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP male to QSFP male
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 3 metres
• Application: InfiniBand high-speed interconnect
• Signal medium: Multimode optical transmission
• Form factor: Compact QSFP plug-compatible

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port on networking equipment until the connector latches. Ensure device ports are powered down or follow hot-plugging procedures recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Verify link status indicators on connected devices to confirm successful negotiation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius to preserve optical integrity.

Recommendations

Use this BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-PT-BO cable for reliable short to medium-range InfiniBand links in rack environments. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius, protect connectors from dust when not in use, and confirm compatibility with QSFP ports and InfiniBand link settings on connected devices before deployment.
