BlueOptics SFP-10G-AOC10M-BO InfiniBand-kuitu kaapeli 10 m SFP+ oranssi

The BlueOptics SFP-10G-AOC10M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 10 m active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ male-to-male connectors in orange. Designed for short-range high-speed links, it supports 10G data rates and complies with SFP+ MSA form factor standards. The cable integrates optical transmitter and receiver modules on each end and uses multimode fiber to deliver low-latency, EMI-immune connections between switches, routers, storage systems and other SFP+-compatible network devices.

Advantages

The BlueOptics AOC provides a pre-terminated SFP+ to SFP+ solution that eliminates field termination and patch-cord cleaning, reducing installation time and signal attenuation. Compatibility with common SFP+ platforms and support for 10G Ethernet and related protocols enable straightforward integration into existing infrastructure. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM/DOM) offers real-time information on supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit power, receive power and temperature, simplifying maintenance and fault analysis.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP-10G-AOC10M-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the SFP+ ports of the devices to be linked, ensuring the connectors click into place. Verify that the connected devices support SFP+ AOCs and, if required, enable or confirm DDM/DOM support in device firmware to read diagnostic values. No additional optical cleaning or patching is required since the cable is pre-assembled; route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short-reach 10G interconnections inside racks or between adjacent racks where multimode fiber and SFP+ ports are available. Maintain bend radius guidelines from the manufacturer, and confirm device compatibility with SFP+ AOCs and DDM/DOM features before deployment.
