How to use

Install the transceiver into an available SFP+ slot on compatible networking equipment until it latches securely. Connect single-mode fiber using the appropriate LC connector patch cords, ensuring the correct transmit and receive fiber orientation for your link. After physical installation, verify link status and negotiate speed on the host device; the module supports standard 10 Gbit/s optical link protocols. For maintenance, power down the port if required by your equipment before removing the module to avoid damage.

Recommendations

Ensure clean fiber endfaces and correct polarity when connecting patch cords. Use dust caps when the module is not in use. Operate the transceiver within the host equipment’s specified temperature range and follow manufacturer guidance for Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions during handling and installation.
