BlueOptics SFP-25G-AOC30M-BO InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 30 m SFP28 aqua

The BlueOptics SFP-25G-AOC30M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 30 m SFP28 Aqua is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 to SFP28 male connectors designed for short-range, high-speed links. At 30 meters length and using multimode fibre, this cable supports 25 Gbps class data transmission and is intended for use in data centres and networking equipment that accept SFP28 form-factor modules. The aqua-coloured jacket and SFP28 interfaces provide a standardized physical connection for server, switch and storage interconnects.

Advantages

The AOC design integrates transmitter and receiver modules in the cable ends, eliminating the need for separate transceivers and patch fibre, which simplifies installation and reduces connector loss. Compatibility with the SFP28 form factor and support for 25 Gbps signalling make the cable suitable for dense networking environments where high throughput and reduced latency are required. The fixed 30 m length and MMF construction provide consistent optical performance across typical data centre distances.

Suitable for

• Short-reach links between switches and top-of-rack servers in data centres
• High-speed interconnects in storage and SAN environments
• Upgrading 10G links to 25G within racks or across nearby racks

Key specifications

• Form factor: SFP28 to SFP28 (male/male)
• Length: 30 metres
• Data rate class: 25 Gbps class (25GBASE-compatible)
• Medium: active optical cable with multimode fibre
• Colour: aqua jacket

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP-25G-AOC30M-BO by plugging each SFP28 connector directly into the SFP28 ports of the devices to be connected. Ensure both devices support SFP28 form-factor active optical cables and are configured for the intended 25 Gbps link speed and protocol (for example Ethernet or Fibre Channel over Ethernet). Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive stress or sources of mechanical damage. No separate transceivers or patch cords are required; the integrated modules handle optical signal conversion.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules before deployment and test the link after installation. Maintain bend radius and handle the aqua-coloured multimode cable gently to preserve optical performance.
