SFP+ Direct-Attach -kaapeli CBO 2052246-1-BL 0,5 m uros–uros 10 Gbit/s

SFP+ direct-attach cable CBO 2052246-1-BL 0.5m Male–Male 10 Gbit/s is a short-range twinax copper assembly designed for direct connection between SFP+ ports. At 0.5 metres length it enables reliable 10 Gbit/s links for server-to-switch, switch-to-switch or storage-to-switch interconnects inside racks and data centres. The Male–Male connectors are sized to plug directly into compatible SFP+ cages, offering a compact and low-latency alternative to optical modules for high-density installations.

Advantages

The cable delivers full 10 Gbit/s performance with minimal latency and reduced power consumption compared with optical transceivers. Its fixed 0.5 m length simplifies cabling in short-reach environments and reduces signal reflections and loss. The twinax construction provides robust electrical performance for stable links, while the integrated SFP+ male connectors ensure straightforward installation without additional transceivers or fibre patching.

Suitable for

• Short-range server-to-switch connections within racks
• Switch-to-switch uplinks in data centre top-of-rack or end-of-row setups
• Storage array interconnects requiring 10 Gbit/s bandwidth
• High-density networking environments where low latency and compact cabling are needed

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ Male to SFP+ Male
• Length: 0.5 m
• Data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Cable type: Twinax copper direct-attach cable
• Typical application: Short-reach point-to-point links inside racks and data centres

How to use

Insert each SFP+ male connector into the corresponding SFP+ port until it seats firmly; you should hear or feel the latch engage on compatible cages. Use the cable for direct, short-distance connections between networking equipment that supports SFP+ direct-attach twinax assemblies. Ensure both ends are connected only when devices are powered or follow the equipment manufacturer's hot-plug guidelines to avoid port negotiation issues. Verify link status through your switch or server management interface after installation.

Recommendations

Choose this 0.5 m direct-attach cable where a fixed short connection is required to minimise latency and power use. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment vendor. Confirm compatibility with the network devices' SFP+ cages and firmware before deployment to ensure stable operation.
