SFP+ lähetin-vastaanotin CBO SFP-10G-BX-U-40KM-LE-BO 10 Gbit/s yksikuitukaapeli LC 40 km

CBO SFP-10G-BX-U-40KM-LE-BO is a compact SFP+ optical transceiver module that supports 10 Gbit/s full-duplex data transmission over single-mode fiber. Designed for single-fiber bidirectional (BX-U) operation with an LC connector, the module enables link distances of up to 40 km. The hot-pluggable design and standardized SFP+ form factor make it compatible with a wide range of switches, routers and media converters that accept simplex single-fiber interfaces.

Advantages

The transceiver delivers 10 Gbit/s performance using a single-fiber bidirectional link, reducing fiber cabling requirements while maintaining high bandwidth. Its SFP+ form factor provides hot-swap capability and compact integration into network hardware. Engineered for single-mode fiber, it supports long-reach connections up to 40 km and uses the common LC connector for broad interoperability.

Suitable for

• 10 Gbit/s uplinks between switches and routers in enterprise and carrier networks
• Long-distance metro and campus interconnects over single-mode fiber
• Data centre links where space-saving SFP+ modules are required
• Upgrading existing fiber links to bidirectional single-fiber operation to reduce fiber count

Key specifications

• Data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Fiber type: single-mode fiber (SMF)
• Operation mode: bidirectional single-fiber (BX-U)
• Connector: LC
• Maximum reach: up to 40 km
• Form factor: SFP+
• Hot-pluggable: yes

How to use

Insert the SFP+ transceiver into an appropriate SFP+ port on compatible network equipment while the device is powered on or off, as the module supports hot-plug operation. Connect single-mode LC-terminated fiber patch cords, making sure to match the correct transmit and receive wavelengths for bidirectional BX-U links. Configure the network interface on connected devices according to vendor guidelines to enable 10 Gbit/s operation and verify link status through device management interfaces and LEDs.

Recommendations

Use single-mode fiber with recommended LC connectors and ensure clean, dust-free fiber endfaces to maintain signal quality. Verify compatibility with the host device's supported SFP+ transceiver list and configure link parameters (speed, duplex, and any vendor-specific settings) as required. For long-distance runs approaching the 40 km limit, plan for appropriate splicing and attenuation management to preserve signal margin.
