BlueOptics SFP25G-AOC03M-TG-BO InfiniBand-kuitukaapeli 3 m SFP28 aqua

The BlueOptics SFP25G-AOC03M-TG-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3 m SFP28 Aqua is a 3-meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors designed for high-speed InfiniBand and 25G Ethernet links. The pre-assembled aqua cable integrates transceivers at both ends to transmit and receive optical signals over multimode fiber, enabling a compact, plug-and-play connection between compatible switches, routers, storage systems and network adapters.

Advantages

This SFP28-to-SFP28 AOC supports data rates up to 25 Gbit/s and eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, reducing insertion loss and simplifying cable management. The cable is manufactured to MSA-compatible form factors and uses components selected for long operational life and stable performance. Digital diagnostics (DDM/DOM) capability provides real-time monitoring of parameters such as supply voltage, laser bias and optical power when supported by the host hardware.

Suitable for

• High-speed InfiniBand connections between switches and servers
• 25G Ethernet or Fibre Channel over Ethernet links within data centres
• Short-reach multimode optical links in rack-to-rack or shelf-to-shelf deployments

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (male-to-male)
• Length: 3 meters
• Transmission type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) over multimode fiber
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Colour: aqua
• Support for Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) via compatible host hardware

How to use

Ensure both host ports accept SFP28 AOC modules and are powered off or in a maintenance state if recommended by your hardware vendor. Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding port until it latches; no additional patching or fiber termination is required. Bring hosts online and verify link status and negotiated speed through the switch or adapter management interface. If supported, use the host management tools to read DDM/DOM parameters for ongoing monitoring.

Recommendations

Use this 3 m AOC for short-reach, high-throughput connections within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress on the cable; keep minimum bend radius as specified by the vendor and route the cable to prevent strain on the SFP28 connectors. Confirm host compatibility with SFP28 AOCs and DDM/DOM support to ensure full functionality.
