BlueOptics SFP25G-AOC10M-TG InfiniBand-kuitukaapeli 10 m SFP28 aqua

The BlueOptics SFP25G-AOC10M-TG InfiniBand fibre optic cable 10 m SFP28 Aqua is a 10-metre active optical cable designed for high-speed data transmission in InfiniBand and 25G environments. Equipped with SFP28-compatible connectors and an aqua jacket, this cable delivers stable links for short-reach connections inside racks and between adjacent network equipment. It is intended for use where low latency and consistent throughput are required, such as in data centre and high-performance computing setups.

Advantages

This SFP28-rated active optical cable provides plug-and-play connectivity with SFP28 ports while maintaining signal integrity across the 10 m length. The aqua-coloured jacket aids identification in dense cabling environments. Because it is an active optical cable, it combines optical transmission with integrated electronics to ensure reliable 25G signalling and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives.

Suitable for

• Short-reach interconnects in server racks and switch-to-switch links
• High-performance computing clusters and InfiniBand fabrics
• 25G network interfaces and SFP28-capable ports
• Data centre top-of-rack and middle-of-row cabling

Key specifications

• Form factor: SFP28-compatible active optical cable
• Length: 10 metres
• Optical interface: InfiniBand / 25G signalling
• Cable jacket colour: Aqua
• Typical use: short-reach, rack-level connections

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on the network devices until the connector latches. Ensure both devices support 25G or InfiniBand interfaces and that ports are powered. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the device manufacturer. No additional configuration is required for basic link establishment beyond standard port and network settings on the connected equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify compatibility with the host devices' SFP28 ports and firmware. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force when routing the cable. Use the aqua jacket colour to separate 25G/InfiniBand links from other cabling in dense installations.
