BlueOptics SFP28-25G-AOC15M-BO InfiniBand-/kuituoptinen kaapeli 15 m aqua

The BlueOptics SFP28-25G-AOC15M-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 15 m Aqua is a 15-metre active optical cable with SFP28 male-to-male connectors. Designed for high-speed links, the cable uses active transmitter and receiver modules on each end to transfer optical signals over multimode fiber and supports 25G data rates for short-reach interconnects in data center and networking environments.

Advantages

The cable conforms to SFP28 form factor and MSA-compatible electrical and mechanical interfaces, providing plug-and-play connectivity for equipment that accepts SFP28 modules. Its active optical construction reduces electrical interference and heat compared with equivalent copper direct attach solutions, while the 15 m length offers flexible rack-to-rack or row-to-row deployment. The aqua jacket and multimode design match common short-range 25GBASE-SR4 applications and allow reliable data transmission at 25 Gbit/s over the specified distance.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 slot on network devices until the module latches. Ensure compatible device firmware or hardware accepts MSA-compliant SFP28 AOCs. Route the cable respecting bend-radius limits for multimode fibres and secure the cable to avoid mechanical strain. After connection, verify link status and diagnostics through the device management interface to confirm 25G operation.

Recommendations

Use the BlueOptics SFP28 AOC in environments where short-reach 25G performance is required and where devices explicitly support MSA-compatible SFP28 active optical cables. Avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling force and exposure to liquids or extreme temperatures to maintain signal integrity and service life.
