BlueOptics SFP3333FU3MK InfiniBand-kuitukaapeli 3m ST OM4

The BlueOptics SFP3333FU3MK InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 3m ST OM4 is a duplex multimode fibre cable designed for high-speed networking links. With ST connectors on both ends and OM4 fibre, this 3-metre cable supports InfiniBand applications and short- to medium-range data transmission where low loss and high bandwidth are required. The construct is intended for use in data centres, server rooms and network cabinets where reliable optical connectivity and compatibility with SFP transceivers are needed.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable provides higher modal bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, enabling increased throughput for InfiniBand links. The ST connector design ensures quick and repeatable connections in legacy and specialised networking equipment. Full duplex support allows simultaneous bidirectional data transfer, reducing latency in clustered and storage networks. The 3-metre length offers flexibility for typical rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment connections without unnecessary slack.

How to use

Identify the correct SFP or InfiniBand port on your equipment and ensure transceivers or interfaces are compatible with OM4 multimode fibre and ST connectors. Align the ST connectors with the receptacles and insert until the bayonet coupling engages; rotate as required for a secure fit. Use one fibre of the duplex pair for transmit and the other for receive according to device labelling. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain, and secure it with cable management to maintain stable optical performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM4 cable in environments where multimode performance is required and pair it with compatible InfiniBand transceivers. Maintain bend radius guidelines and keep connectors clean to minimize insertion loss. Select a 3m length for short rack or cabinet connections to reduce excess slack and potential signal degradation.
