BlueOptics UOC-15-BO InfiniBand-kuitukaapeli 15 m LC uros-uros

The BlueOptics UOC-15-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 15 m LC male-to-male multimode patch cable designed for high-speed InfiniBand connections in data centres and professional networks. Constructed with laser-optimized multimode fibre and precision LC connectors, the cable provides reliable low-loss transmission for server-to-switch, switch-to-switch and transceiver-to-panel links. The jacket is designed for installation in technical environments where predictable optical performance and compatibility with InfiniBand hardware are required.

Advantages

This 15 m BlueOptics cable delivers consistent optical performance with low attenuation and high return loss thanks to quality multimode fibre and ceramic ferrules in the LC connectors. The male-to-male LC termination ensures compatibility with LC ports commonly used for InfiniBand and other high-speed links. Cable construction and connector components are selected to provide a long mating life and stable signal integrity in rack and patch panel installations.

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors and the ports on your equipment to ensure they are clean and free of dust before connecting. Align each LC male connector with the corresponding LC female port on transceivers, switches or patch panels, then gently insert until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce strain on connectors; maintain the recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. When removing, depress the latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid stressing the fibre.

Recommendations

Use fibre cleaning tools or wipes before each mating to maintain low insertion loss. For installations in racks or conduits, secure the cable with appropriate cable management to avoid microbends. Store and handle the cable following standard multimode fibre best practices to preserve optical performance over time.
