BlueOptics UOC-7.5-BO InfiniBand/kuitu-kaapeli 7,5 m LC liitin/liitin

The BlueOptics UOC-7.5-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable is a 7.5 m LC-to-LC multimode OM3 patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers, server rooms and high-performance computing environments. Equipped with LC male connectors on both ends and laser-optimized OM3 fibre, this cable supports short-range, high-bandwidth connections between transceivers, patch panels and networking equipment. The cable uses a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) sheath for improved safety in enclosed spaces and is manufactured with high-quality ferrules and branded fibre to ensure consistent optical performance.

Advantages

The cable offers low attenuation and high return loss for reliable signal integrity, with production testing using interferometry and OTDR to provide verified input loss and return loss measurements. BlueOptics uses branded multimode fibre and precision zirconia ceramic ferrules to achieve long mating-cycle lifetimes and stable connector performance. The OM3 specification and LC connectors make the cable compatible with a wide range of InfiniBand and optical networking equipment while maintaining compact connector density.

How to use

Route the BlueOptics UOC-7.5-BO cable between the two LC ports to be connected, avoiding sharp bends and tight radii to preserve multimode performance. Remove protective caps from both LC connectors, align the connectors with the transceiver or patch panel ports and insert until a positive latch is felt. Verify link status on connected equipment and consult the measurement protocol provided with the cable to confirm input loss and return loss values if required. For installation in racks or cable trays, secure the cable with appropriate ties or organizers while maintaining bend radius recommendations for OM3 fibre.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid bending the cable below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, keep connectors clean and protected until installation, and verify connector cleanliness with appropriate inspection tools. Use this OM3 LC-LC cable for short to medium multimode links where InfiniBand or 10/40/100 Gigabit multimode connections are required; if longer reach or single-mode operation is needed, select a suitable single-mode fibre cable instead.
