BlueOptics X66205-2-BO InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 2 m MPO 4x LC violetti

The BlueOptics X66205-2-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 2 m MPO to 4x LC duplex assembly designed for high-speed, reliable multimode connections in data centres and networking environments. Built with OM4 laser-optimized multimode fibre and a 125 µm core diameter, this violet-sheathed cable provides full-duplex transmission and is intended for short-range, high-bandwidth links such as server interconnects, patch panels and fibre distribution frames.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable offers low attenuation and high return loss for efficient optical transmission. Connectors and ferrules are produced from proven materials to ensure durability up to many mating cycles, while post-production interferometer and OTDR testing provide documented input loss and return loss values. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath reduces toxic emissions and smoke in the event of fire and complies with common industrial safety standards.

How to use

Install the MPO end into the corresponding MPO adapter or trunk port and connect each LC duplex plug to the matching LC transceiver or patch panel port. Ensure correct polarity and orientation for full-duplex operation and avoid sharp bends or tight loops that could exceed the specified bend radius. Route the cable within cable management systems or trays to prevent strain on connectors and to maintain consistent performance.

Recommendations

Before final installation, verify the loss and return loss values from the supplied measurement protocol and perform visual inspection of connector endfaces. Maintain connector cleanliness using appropriate fibre cleaning tools and avoid repeated unnecessary mating cycles to prolong service life. For fire-sensitive installations, the LSZH sheath provides reduced smoke and halogen-free behaviour; nevertheless, follow site-specific cable routing and safety rules.
