Use the app for live preview, manual photo/video capture and to download or delete files; recording resolution and other parameters can be adjusted from the app or directly on the camera menu.

Recommendations

For reliable detection and image quality, position the camera with a clear line of sight within the PIR detection range (up to 20 m) and select the appropriate Wi‑Fi band based on distance to your smartphone. Use a weather‑rated microSD card and check battery level periodically; for long deployments consider the mains adapter. Secure the device with a strap or mount and enable password protection in the app to prevent unauthorized access.
