Canon FILTER, 1. CORONA STAUBDICHTER FILTER (FC8-9564)

Engineered specifically for Canon imageRUNNER and imagePRESS production systems, the FC8-9564 1st Corona Dust-Proof Filter stands apart from generic aftermarket filters by maintaining the precise airflow and electrostatic balance required for consistent corona charging. This OEM component prevents toner and paper dust from contaminating the primary corona assembly, reducing the risk of print defects and extending the service life of the corona unit.

Highlights

• Genuine Canon OEM part (FC8-9564)
• Dust-proof design protects the 1st corona assembly
• Maintains optimal airflow for stable corona output
• Helps prevent background fogging and uneven density
• Direct replacement for specified Canon models
• Easy installation during routine maintenance

In daily use

In high-volume print environments, airborne toner and paper fibers are inevitable. This filter acts as the first line of defense, trapping contaminants before they reach the corona wire and grid. By keeping the corona unit clean, the filter helps ensure uniform charge distribution, which translates to sharper text, smoother halftones, and fewer service calls. Technicians appreciate the straightforward swap-out process—no special tools required.
