CB-radioantenni Stabo 60057 – taajuus 26–28 MHz, enimmäisvahvistus 3 dBi

The Stabo 60057 CB radio antenna is designed for CB transceivers operating in the 26–28 MHz frequency range. Compact and intended for vehicle or fixed installations, it offers a maximum gain of 3 dBi to improve signal reception and transmission within the specified band. The antenna suits situations where a moderate, stable improvement of CB communication is required without significant additional height or complex mounting.

Advantages

The antenna provides consistent performance across the 26–28 MHz band with a stated maximum gain of 3 dBi, supporting clearer reception and transmission compared with basic whip antennas. Its compact form factor simplifies installation on vehicles or permanent mounts and reduces wind resistance. The design is compatible with standard CB transceivers and aims to deliver reliable operation in typical road or stationary environments.

How to use

Mount the antenna on a suitable bracket or vehicle mount that provides a solid electrical ground or counterpoise as required by your installation. Connect the antenna feedline to the CB transceiver using a compatible coaxial cable and connector. After installation, perform antenna tuning and SWR (standing wave ratio) checks following standard CB installation procedures to ensure the antenna is resonant in the 26–28 MHz range and to minimise reflected power. Adjust mount position or use a matching device if necessary to achieve acceptable SWR levels.

Recommendations

Use a quality coaxial cable and proper grounding to maximise performance. Regularly inspect mechanical mounts and cable connections for corrosion or damage. When installing on vehicles, verify that the mounting point and ground plane are appropriate to achieve the intended gain and radiation pattern.
