How to use

Install the CO alarm on a wall or ceiling according to the manufacturer’s spacing recommendations, avoiding direct placement above fuel-burning appliances and draughty spots. Insert the supplied CR123A lithium battery and confirm power-up on the LCD display. Use the test button to verify the device is functioning and listen for the alarm; use the mute function only during non-emergency troubleshooting. Replace the device or sensor after the indicated service life or if the unit fails self-tests.

Recommendations

Place the detector in sleeping areas and central rooms to ensure occupants are alerted during rest. Check the unit regularly using the test button, replace the battery or unit according to the service-life indication, and follow national guidance for safe mounting distances from combustion appliances. Do not paint the device or block the sensor openings.
