CBO kuitu-kaapeli BlueOptics SFP5252FU20MKB 20 m MPO OM4 violetti

CBO BlueOptics SFP5252FU20MKB 20 m MPO OM4 violet is a 20‑metre multimode fiber optic patch cable with MPO termination and OM4 performance. The cable is violet‑colored for easy identification in dense cabling environments and is intended for short‑reach, high‑bandwidth multimode links in data center and enterprise installations. It provides a compact MPO connector interface suitable for parallel optics and high‑density patching between servers, switches, and patch panels.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fiber supports increased bandwidth and extended reach for short‑range multimode applications compared with lower‑grade multimode fibers. The MPO connector offers high‑density multi‑fibre termination in a single compact housing, simplifying parallel optics deployments. The 20 m length suits common data center runs while the violet jacket color improves visual cable management and reduces the risk of accidental disconnection. The cable is designed for consistent attenuation and return loss performance typical of OM4 multimode fiber.

How to use

Install the fiber patch cable by inserting the MPO connector into the corresponding MPO adapter or transceiver port, ensuring proper alignment of the connector key and pin configuration. Route the cable following standard fiber management practices to avoid tight bends and excessive strain; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fiber. Use labeled cable management trays or ties to keep the 20 m runs tidy and to preserve signal performance. When disconnecting, handle the MPO connector by the housing and protect exposed fiber ends with dust caps when not connected.

Recommendations

Verify connector polarity and transceiver compatibility before final installation, and perform optical loss measurements after installation to confirm link performance within OM4 multimode specifications.
