CellPack 149433 kutistesukka, 100 cm pituus, 1 kpl

CellPack 149433 heat-shrink tubing is a 100 cm length, single-piece tube designed to provide mechanical protection and electrical insulation for cable joints, repairs and sleeving tasks. Made for household and light commercial applications, this medium-wall shrink tube combines a thermoplastic adhesive lining with flexible material properties to seal and protect connections after heat application. It is suitable for DIY electrical work and wiring repairs where a durable, weather-resistant covering is required.

Advantages

The tubing features a medium wall construction and thermoplastic adhesive that creates a secure, moisture-resistant seal around splices and terminations. It is inscribable for identification, chemically resistant and stabilized against UV exposure to maintain performance outdoors. The material is non-corrosive, infusible and self-extinguishing, offering superior electrical characteristics, high tensile strength and resistance to cold flow for long-term stability.

Suitable for

• Insulation of electrical joints and splices
• Repair of damaged cable sheaths and wiring
• Protective sleeving for household and light commercial wiring
• Sealing connections exposed to moisture or outdoor conditions

How to use

Cut the CellPack 149433 tubing to the required length, slide it over the cable or joint, and center it over the area to be insulated. Apply heat evenly using a heat gun or other appropriate heating tool until the tube contracts and the thermoplastic adhesive flows to form a tight seal. Allow the assembly to cool before handling. Avoid using open flames directly on the tube to prevent uneven shrinking or damage to the adhesive lining.

Recommendations

For best results, use a temperature-controlled heat gun and apply heat uniformly while rotating the cable to ensure even shrinkage. Verify compatibility with the wire insulation and operating temperature of the application. For long-length spools, sections may be tied together—cut and inspect each section before installation. Other lengths are available on request.
