Cinch-liitin ShiverPeaks BS57033 nikkelöidyillä liittimillä

The ShiverPeaks BS57033 RCA Gender Changer with nickel-plated connectors converts the gender of an RCA connection to allow two RCA cables to be joined without changing existing terminations. It is designed for straightforward audio and video signal continuity in home theater and audio setups where extending or redirecting RCA connections is necessary. The nickel plating on the contacts provides corrosion resistance and consistent electrical contact for analog signals.

Advantages

This gender changer provides a compact and low-profile solution for joining two RCA cables while preserving signal integrity. Nickel-plated connectors reduce oxidation and help maintain reliable contact over repeated insertions. Its simple, passive design requires no power and introduces minimal signal loss when used with standard analog audio or composite video lines.

Suitable for

• Extending RCA audio cables in home stereo systems
• Joining composite video leads for DVD players, VCRs or legacy video devices
• Connecting CCTV or monitoring equipment that uses RCA terminations
• Temporary or permanent cable routing in AV installations

Key specifications

• Connector types: RCA to RCA
• Contact plating: nickel
• Function: passive gender changer for analog signals
• Typical use: analog audio and composite video

How to use

Insert one RCA cable plug into one side of the gender changer and the other RCA cable plug into the opposite side until each connector seats firmly. Ensure the cables are correctly matched for signal type (audio left/right or composite video) and verify signal continuity after connection. No tools or power are required; the unit operates passively as a direct connector between cable terminations.

Recommendations

For best results use with good-quality RCA cables, avoid excessive bending at the connector joints, and inspect connectors periodically for debris or wear. If using in professional or high-fidelity systems, consider cable length and the passive nature of the gender changer when planning signal paths.
