Live sound engineers and content creators often need to feed a stereo 3.5mm source—like a smartphone, tablet, or laptop—into professional mixing consoles or powered speakers with XLR inputs. The Cordial EY 1 WRMM solves this with a single, reliable cable: a 3.5mm TRS jack on one end splits into two XLR male connectors, carrying left and right channels separately. At 1 meter long, it keeps your setup tidy without limiting movement on stage or in the studio.

Key specifications

• Connector A: 1x 3.5mm TRS jack male (stereo)
• Connector B: 2x XLR 3-pin male (mono left/right)
• Cable length: 1 meter
• Colour: Black
• Conductor material: Oxygen-free copper (OFC)
• Shielding: Spiral shielding for noise rejection
• Connector plating: Nickel
• Jacket material: PVC
• Series: Cordial EY

Why choose it

Cordial builds cables for demanding audio environments. The OFC conductors preserve signal clarity, while spiral shielding guards against hum and interference. Nickel-plated connectors resist corrosion and ensure secure connections. The compact Y-design eliminates the need for bulky adapters, reducing points of failure. Whether you're connecting a phone for backing tracks at a gig or routing a laptop to a PA system, this cable delivers consistent, balanced audio to your XLR inputs.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting a smartphone or tablet to a mixing console for live playback
• Routing a laptop's headphone output to powered PA speakers
• Integrating consumer audio devices into professional recording setups
• Quick setup for presentations, DJ sets, or small performances

Good to know

The 3.5mm TRS connector carries a stereo signal; the two XLR outputs are mono (left and right). Ensure your receiving equipment accepts line-level XLR inputs. The cable is 1 meter long, ideal for close connections; for longer runs, consider an extension or a longer Y-cable. The PVC jacket is durable yet flexible, suitable for frequent coiling and uncoiling.
