DECT IP-toistin agfeo 6101724 valkoinen — kantaman jatko DECT/VoIP-järjestelmiin

The agfeo DECT IP-Repeater 6101724 in white is a range extender designed to expand DECT/VoIP wireless coverage in offices and buildings. It integrates with IP-based DECT infrastructure to improve signal reach, support handover between base stations and repeaters, and increase call stability in areas where the base station alone does not provide sufficient radio range.

Advantages

The repeater extends the operational area of DECT handsets without requiring additional wired telephone lines. It supports seamless handover to maintain active calls while moving through covered zones and reduces dead zones where signal reception is weak. Compact and wall-mountable, the unit is easy to install and integrates with existing agfeo IP-DECT systems and compatible VoIP environments.

Suitable for

• Expanding DECT coverage in medium to large offices and multi-story buildings
• Improving call stability in warehouses, production halls and reception areas
• Providing additional handover points for roaming employees and mobile staff

Key specifications

• Wireless technology: DECT for IP/VoIP systems
• Purpose: range extension and handover support for DECT handsets
• Form factor: compact wall-mountable repeater in white finish
• Network integration: connects to IP-based DECT infrastructure
• Typical use environment: indoor commercial and office spaces

How to use

Install the repeater in a location between the DECT base station and the area lacking coverage, following manufacturer placement guidelines to ensure optimal signal overlap. Connect the device to the building network as required by the IP-DECT system and register it with the DECT controller or base station according to the system manual. After registration, test handset roaming and call handover across coverage zones and adjust repeater position if necessary to minimize interference and maximize coverage.

Recommendations

Place the repeater at a mid-point where it still receives a stable signal from the base station. Avoid installing near large metal objects, thick concrete walls, or sources of radio interference. For multi-floor coverage, position repeaters on different levels to create overlapping coverage areas while following the system’s capacity and registration limits.
