DeLOCK InfiniBand/kuitu-kaapeli 0,5 m LC LC/APC keltainen 83219

The DeLOCK 83219 is a 0.5 m fibre optic cable with LC/APC connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in networking environments. It uses OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and a yellow jacket, suitable for connecting devices such as FTTH house interconnection points and fibre optic modems.

Advantages

The cable provides low attenuation and stable signal quality thanks to its OS2 single-mode fibre and APC-polished LC connectors. With a short 0.5 m length and standardized LC/APC termination it is compact and easy to install in patch panels or between nearby network devices. The yellow jacket improves visibility and identification within cabling runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting FTTH house interconnection points to fibre optic modems
• Short-distance links between network equipment in telecom and data centre racks
• Patching in optical distribution frames and small patch panels

How to use

Ensure both network devices are powered down or follow hot‑swap procedures required by your equipment. Align and insert the LC/APC connectors into the corresponding LC/APC ports until they click into place. Avoid bending the cable sharply; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by your installation guidelines. Verify the optical link with appropriate testing equipment or by checking device link indicators.

Recommendations

Store and route the DeLOCK 83219 cable away from sources of mechanical stress and excessive bending. Use dust caps on unused connectors to prevent contamination and clean connector endfaces before mating if optical power levels or test results are critical.
