DeLOCK kuitu-kaapeli LC Duplex - LC Duplex OM3 IP68 2 m

The DeLOCK Optical fiber cable LC Duplex to LC Duplex OM3 2 m is a multimode OM3 duplex connection cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. It is intended for high-speed data transmission between networking devices such as switches, media converters and other telecommunication equipment. The cable is rated IP68 for dust and waterproof performance, making it suitable for use in exposed or outdoor environments when installed with compatible housings.

Advantages

This OM3 LC Duplex cable provides full-duplex multimode transmission with a 50 µm core for reliable high-bandwidth connections. The LC to LC terminations enable compact, standardized connectivity in modern network infrastructures. The IP68-rated screwable waterproof connection protects the interface from dust and moisture when fitted into a suitable enclosure, increasing robustness for outdoor or harsh-environment installations.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports of the networking devices, observing correct polarity for duplex connections. If the cable is used outdoors, mount the waterproof screw connection into a housing or panel with a matching cut-out and tighten according to the enclosure manufacturer’s instructions to achieve the IP68 seal. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile load on the fiber to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC Duplex cable for multimode links where a compact LC connector and IP68 protection are required; ensure compatible housings and proper strain relief are used for outdoor or exposed installations to preserve performance.
