DeLOCK kuitu-kaapeli LC duplex – LC duplex Singlemode OS2 2 m

The DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to LC Duplex Singlemode OS2 2m is a 2‑metre singlemode fiber cable with LC Duplex connectors on both ends. It supports OS2 singlemode transmission for long-distance, high-speed data links and is intended to connect networking devices such as switches, media converters or transceivers. The cable features metal armouring that increases mechanical protection while maintaining flexibility and bendability.

Advantages

Metal armouring provides improved protection against mechanical damage, moisture, dust and rodents while preserving cable flexibility. LC Duplex connectors enable full‑duplex singlemode transmission using OS2 fiber for low loss and extended reach. The 2 m length is suitable for short to medium interconnection runs in server rooms, telecom racks and industrial environments.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean if necessary. Plug each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on your networking devices or patch panels until it clicks. Route the cable ensuring bend radius is respected and that the metal armoured sheath is not sharply kinked. Secure the cable in racks or cable trays to avoid strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fiber optic cleaning tools to maintain low insertion loss. Avoid excessive bending beyond the manufacturer's recommended minimum bend radius and protect connectors when not in use with dust caps. For outdoor or buried installations, verify that the metal armouring and overall cable construction match environmental requirements.
