DeLOCK kuituoptinen jakelukotelo DIN-kisko 8 porttia harmaa

The DeLOCK Fiber Optic Distribution Box is a DIN-rail mountable enclosure designed to organize and protect fiber optic terminations. It fits a standard 35 mm DIN rail and provides space for up to eight SC Simplex or LC Duplex fiber couplers. The compact grey housing includes two waterproof PG11 cable glands for secure cable entry and an integrated splice cassette for orderly fiber routing and splicing.

Advantages

The unit supports up to 8 ports for common SC Simplex and LC Duplex couplers and is made for quick DIN rail installation. Two PG11 cable glands allow sealed feed-through of fiber optic cables while the included splice cassette enables neat management of individual fibers and is suitable for both mechanical and fusion splicing.

Suitable for

• Industrial or telecommunication cabinets requiring DIN rail fiber distribution
• Patch panels or local distribution points for up to 8 fiber terminations
• Installations needing mechanical or fusion splicing and tidy fiber routing

How to use

Mount the distribution box on a 35 mm DIN rail and secure it according to the rail system instructions. Feed fiber cables through the PG11 cable glands and fasten the glands to ensure a sealed entry. Install the required SC Simplex or LC Duplex couplers into the front openings. Route individual fibers into the integrated splice cassette and perform mechanical or fusion splicing as needed. Close the cassette and the enclosure to protect the terminations.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fiber handling tools and follow safety procedures for fusion splicing. Ensure cable strain relief at the PG11 glands and avoid bending fibers beyond their minimum bend radius to maintain signal integrity.
