Verkkokaapeli DeLOCK kuitu-työpöytäpääteboxi 8 porttia SC simplex musta

The DeLOCK optical fiber desktop terminal box accommodates eight SC Simplex couplers and is intended for desktop placement or wall mounting. It features two cable entries on the rear side for cable feed-through and includes an integrated splice cassette for neat routing and protection of individual fibers, suitable for both mechanical and fusion splicing.

Advantages

The metal housing provides robust protection for fibers and components while the compact dimensions (131.5 mm × 249 mm × 38.7 mm) save space on a desk or in a small installation area. The integrated splice cassette organises fibers to maintain signal integrity and facilitates both mechanical and fusion splicing procedures. Two rear cable entries enable clean feed-through and secure cable management.

Suitable for

• Desktop or wall-mounted fiber patching points
• Small office and network cabinet fiber terminations
• Organising and protecting SC Simplex connections (up to 8 ports)
• Environments requiring mechanical or fusion splicing with a splice cassette

How to use

Position the terminal box on a desktop or mount it to a wall using appropriate fasteners. Route incoming and outgoing fiber cables through the two rear cable entries and secure them according to site practice. Terminate fibers with SC Simplex couplers into the front panel ports. Open the splice cassette to place and organise individual fibers, then perform mechanical or fusion splicing as required and close the cassette to protect the splices and maintain orderly routing.

Recommendations

Handle optical fibers and splices following standard safety and handling procedures: use appropriate tools for stripping and cleaving, avoid bending fibers beyond their minimum bend radius, and ensure connectors and splices are kept clean to preserve optical performance.
